Prospects for the use of recreational resources in the formation of tourist and recreational complexes of the Chechen Republic

This study analyzes the tourist and recreational potential of the North Caucasus and the Chechen Republic and the effectiveness of its use. The prerequisites, theoretical, practical and legal aspects of the formation of tourist and recreational clusters and the main directions of increasing the efficiency of using the tourist and recreational potential are explored in the article. In addition, the tourism market of the Chechen Republic and the dynamics associated with it are analyzed. The statistics of recent years show an increase in the share of domestic and inbound tourism. The author identified the main milestones in the development of the tourist potential of Chechnya, with a special emphasis on health resorts and the use of medicinal mineral springs. On the basis of these data, the need to restore resort activities in the republic was substantiated and the role of tourist activities in the socio-economic life of the region was determined. For the further development of domestic tourism, its entry into favorable positions in the market, we see it as necessary to develop and increase the competitiveness of the tourism sector in the region, which can only be achieved by joint efforts of government and business.
