Prospects of green construction in China

The article analyzes the problems that arise as a result of the development of ecological civilization, in particular, the implementation of green construction programs in the People's Republic of China. We have concluded that there is a need for a systematic and integrated approach, as well as coordination of the environmental safety indicators and economic growth requirements when implementing measures in the field of environmental protection in order to ensure the sustainability of society. The article identifies the specifics of various state programs of environmental development in China, such as urban construction, land renovation, "green" innovations in industry, agriculture, and so on. We have given the definitions and presented a comparative analysis of such key concepts and terms as “ecological civilization”, “green construction”, “green” economy, “green” growth.
