Perspectives of Russian natural gas export at Germany's market in conditions of overcoming the COVID-19 consequences, the EU green deal and digital transformation

Natural gas export generates significant share of the Russian budget revenue. Germany's gas market is the important direction for foreign economy activity of the Russian firm PJSC «Gazprom». The climate agenda, the EU new green deal and the COVID-19 pandemic make additional risks and uncertainties for the trade relationship in gas area between Russia and Germany. It informs about actuality of making decisions for adapting Russian fuel and energy complex enterprises to new conditions based on analyzing scenarios of the EU natural gas marketfurther development. The article is dedicated to researching perspectives of Russian natural gas export at Germany's market. It has been clarified, that in finding price compromise by the participants gas trade between Russia and Germany will develop on long-term and mutually beneficial base in dynamic conditions of the energy transition and decarbonizing the global economy.
