Perspectives of Chinese and Russian linguistics

Modern Chinese linguistics superficially believes that language as a natural sign system is similar with slight differences from the Western one, and the characteristics of the Chinese language can be reflected in copying “foreign frames”. The fundamental problems associated with the main theories and methods of research of Chinese linguistics are focused on the fact that most of the differences in the basic concepts of the key areas of modern linguistics can be explained by the opposition of rationalism and empiricism. The discrepancies arising from differences in philosophical grounds affect many specific issues of linguistic research. it is revealed that the most promising research in the field of linguistics for both cultures can be a combination with other disciplines.
