The prospects for national cultures in the era of globalization

The paper deals with the problem of globalization. The research identifies its basic trends and factors extending it to various regions of the world. The purpose of the study is to examine the main tools for the globalist processes and analyze the globalist trends in economic, political, and, in particular, social and cultural sphere which is strongly affected by them. The authors substantiate the fact that the uncontrolled implementation of the globalization project at the current stage leads to the collapse of the world order that has developed over the past centuries. At the same time, traditional values, national cultures, and ethnic consciousness of the peoples of our planet are destroyed during its implementation. The practical significance of the study involves the scientific understanding of the project to create an alternative to this globalization model in the course of research and educational activities, scientific papers and conferences. This project will be based on completely different principles of respect for national cultural origins and national languages. It will allow one to make significant adjustments to the idea of globalization and save it from many negative characteristics.
