Prospects of dermatoglyphics in preventive diagnostics of “patological heart of athletes”

We summarized the data on dermatoglyphical analysis of human palm. The possibility of the developed theory and means of assessing susceptibility to diseases application as far as the analysis of the scientific literature help to conclude that dermatoglyphical research is a prospective method in sports medicine when searching for items of dermatoglyphical pattern, reflecting the presence of predisposition to structural and functional changes of the heart and possible hidden anomalies of the heart.
