This article is dedicated to the study of modern technologies and materials used in fire barriers at industrial facilities. The principles of automatic fire detection, the design features, and materials of fire barriers are examined, along with issues related to their integration into automatic fire protection systems. Special attention is given to innovative developments, including the use of nanotechnologies and intelligent materials, as well as the prospects for the advancement of these systems to improve their reliability and efficiency. The analysis conducted allows for the identification of key directions for the improvement of fire barrier solutions in the context of ensuring the safety of industrial facilities.
