Possibilities of employment smart standards at production enterprise

The article reveals the consideration of the “smart standard” technology and the possibilities of its application in industrial enterprises. In the light of the fourth industrial revolution, the question arises of the need to introduce digital technologies in industry. The international and Russian experience in organizing the development of smart standards is being studied. The authors focus on the relationship between information technology industry 4.0 and the transition from paper to electronic media. The approaches to the interpretation of the term “smart standard” are analyzed, the author's definition is proposed. As a result of the study, the main directions of actions for the implementation of this technology in the Russian Federation are outlined, including legislative approval of a single format of smart standards, the creation of their fund, and the development of provisions on the safety of using such standards. The key effects of the introduction of the smart standard in the industry are determined.
