In modern conditions there is a rapid development of tools to improve the efficiency of logistics systems, based on a combination of flexible cooperation between the elements included in their composition, the widespread use of automation and adaptation of the final product to the specific needs of a customer. All this has received the name - technology "Industry 4.0". In turn, the need to improve the efficiency of the logistics system of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (RF Armed Forces), in the context of heightened geopolitical confrontation, in general, makes it relevant to assess the feasibility of implementing the Industry 4.0 tools in the RF Armed Material Support System.
