Prospects for the development of library and bibliographic science in the light of the publication of a new list of peer-reviewed scientific journals

The article is devoted to the analysis of the bibiometric situation in the field of training of scientific personnel in the specialty 05.25.03 "library science, bibliography, book science". It is noted that the new stricter regulation of journals, which can publish the results of research applicants in the specialty 05.25.03, leads to a crisis in library and bibliographic science. Recommendations on leveling of negative consequences are offered
