Prospects for the development of the financial activity of the insurance company (on the example of the JSC "VSK")

The article examines the current state of the competitive environment in the Russian insurance market and the place of the JSC “VSK” in the current structure of the industry. There is a tendency to increase the level of concentration in the market and the emergence of a pronounced leader setting the standard for the implementation of insurance activities. The position of JSC”VSK” is considered, the structure of the portfolio of JSC “VSK” is analyzed in the context of types of insurance, sales channels and regions, the importance of timely and detailed assessment of the financial situation of the company to ensure its systematic development is emphasized. The main measures to minimize risks in the field of activity of the insurance company and measures to ensure the financial stability of the organization are determined. Based on the results of the work, it is concluded that it is necessary to constantly monitor the key financial indicators of the JSC “VSK” for the effective implementation of tactical planning of the organization’s activities.
