Prospects for the development of hubs for year-round transportation along the northern sea route

Бесплатный доступ

The article is devoted to increasing the potential of the Northern Sea Route through the formation of the Northern Sea Transport Corridor. The necessity of developing three gas hubs is justified: in the port of Murmansk, in the port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, in the port of Korsakov (Sakhalin Island). The difference between gas hubs is indicated due to special floating LNG terminals that are moored to the gas berth of the port. The prospects of creating two container hubs are considered: in the port of Murmansk and the port of Vladivostok. The results of calculations of economic indicators for two LNG transportation lines along the Northern Sea Route from the port of Sabetta to the port hub of Murmansk and the port hub of Korsakov (Sakhalin Island) are presented.
