The article discusses the prospects for the development of large business in the tourism industry. It has been established that large tourism enterprises can compensate for their inflexibility as the main drawback through cooperation with small and medium-sized enterprises. At the same time, the main factors that hinder the normal cooperation of large and small tourism businesses include the lack of the necessary regulatory framework, the lack of highly qualified personnel, the lack of effective control by the heads of large tourism enterprises over the activities of subsidiaries of small tourism enterprises, significant miscalculations in government policy. The need for state support for the development of large-scale tourism entrepreneurship is manifested in preferential taxation and lending to large strategic tourism enterprises, government support for priority innovative tourism enterprises, the application of a system of contractual relations, and the development of a mixed form of entrepreneurship. It is proved that in order to develop a large tourism business, it is necessary to improve the mechanisms of state regulation of large tourism enterprises, providing them with timely and effective support in the form of tax incentives, loans, and budget allocations. It is established that the effectiveness of the tourist economy is determined primarily by the degree of development of large-scale entrepreneurship, which is the main object of the state’s service policy, its main representative in foreign markets.
