Prospects for the development of the regulatory framework for assessing customs officials

The assessment of officials is the most important element of service in the customs authorities of the Russian Federation and is established as a mandatory norm. In accordance with the legislation, customs officials are subject to mandatory certification in order to determine the level of professional training and compliance with their position. The article analyzes the current regulatory framework for assessing customs officials, identifies some problems and concludes that it is necessary to develop a unified approach to legal regulation and organization of evaluation of customs officials, which requires improvement in this area.
