Prospects for the development of the Mir payment system in Russia

The article examines the main problems of implementing the MIR payment system in Russia, conducts a comparative analysis of the functionality of Visa, MasterCard and MIR cards , examines the impact of improving the legal framework on the National payment system and the introduction of contactless payment using a smartphone when using the MIR payment system. Measures are proposed to put the national payment system on a faster and more efficient path of development.
