Prospects for the development of the political system in Afghanistan in the conditions of the new Taliban regimen

The article analyzes the reasons for the return and seizure of power by the Taliban (a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation) in Afghanistan in 2021 and the prospects for the development of its political system. The relevance of the topic lies in the fact that the situation in Afghanistan after the Taliban came to power worsened the situation, since all the previous political institutions of power were destroyed and the execution of social obligations of state authorities to the inhabitants of the country was suspended and, consequently, a comprehensive crisis ensued. Afghanistan from a constitutional country with presidential institutions of government came under the "Taliban regime" and was renamed the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. The Taliban of 2021 seeks to legitimize and for this it tries to accept the demands of international organizations. Many countries are participating in the negotiation processes. The article analyzes the internal situation in the country and many factors that influenced the processes of legitimization of the Taliban, and an attempt to construct a possible political system in Afghanistan.
