Prospects of development of Russian trade in agricultural production in the world market

Agriculture plays a major role in providing food to the country. The modern course of development of this branch is connected with such direction as import substitution. This will increase the competitiveness of food, raw materials and agricultural products of the Russian Federation. Russian commodity producers are developing new types of products, such as turkey meat. The most promising food markets for domestic producers are the countries of South-East Asia: Hong Kong, South Korea, the Philippines, Taiwan, Vietnam, and especially China.
