This article outlines the prospects for the development of the CleanTech market in Russia. The problem of processing solid household waste has been updated from an environmental and economic point of view. A review of modern waste processing methods is made. The factors influencing the development of the CleanTech market in Russia have been determined. The most significant domestic projects in the studied area are listed. The problems of modern legislation in the field of environmental policy in relation to solid household waste are identified. It is concluded that the most promising areas of CleanTech are available.
