Rural tourism’ development prospects in the Astrakhan region

This article is written to examine rural tourism’ development prospects in the Astrakhan region. During the study the author explains the concept of rural tourism and analyzes the factors that have a beneficial effect on the development of this type of tourism. The author argues that rural tourism is a worldwide trend, and there are reasons for its development in the Astrakhan region.
