Prospects for the development of a network of protected areas, conserving of landscape and biological variety of the Tver area

The natural and ecological uniqueness and geographical position between the two Russian capitals define the Tver region as a storage for biodiversity and a hub site of the ecological framework of the Center of the Russian Plain. The article considers financial, organizational, legal, educational and scientific perspectives for solving the problem under discussion.
