PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF HIGH-TEMPERATURE MASS SPECTROMETRY FOR STUDYING INORGANIC MATERIALS

Бесплатный доступ

The main stages of introduction, application, and development of the high-temperature mass-spectrometric effusion Knudsen method for studying the evaporation processes and thermodynamic properties of inorganic systems and materials are considered. Some results are obtained using specialized instruments and modified mass spectrometers equipped with high-temperature evaporators. The results of the first stage of laboratory modification of the MТИ-350 Г mass spectrometer for identification of the gas phase composition and determination of the thermodynamic properties of inorganic systems and materials, including high-entropy ceramics, at high temperatures are discussed. The relevance and potential possibilities of creating a modern domestic mass spectrometer for studying evaporation processes and thermodynamic properties of inorganic systems and materials at high temperatures based on the magnetic mass spectrometer MТИ-350 Г are highlighted.
