Prospects for the development of green tourism in modern conditions

The article considers the prospects for the development of green tourism in modern conditions. It is established that the main prerequisites for the development of green tourism are the availability of appropriate potential, primarily the availability of funds necessary to accept tourists and meet their needs, the attractiveness of the territory and the state of the environment of the economy. Among the motives for engaging in green tourism for rural residents, one can distinguish the desire to get a higher income, the possibility of using the existing base of overnight accommodation, the growing interest of tourists in recreation in rural areas. It is proved that the potential of private farms is a determining factor for the development of green tourism, forming the volume of services provided and their economic effect. It is determined that the employment of green tourism contributes to a better use of the resources of the economy, profitable sales of manufactured products, and an increase in the amount of cash receipts. It is revealed that the need to activate the rural population and create appropriate working conditions dictate the importance of developing green tourism, creating new forms of entrepreneurship and employment of the rural population. At the same time, green tourism acts as the first real alternative for an overpopulated rural area, a source of income for its residents, the creation of a new labor market and an increase in the overall standard of living.
