Perspectives of agriculture of Smolensk region for investments

The article analyzes the prospects of agriculture of the Smolensk region for investment. The analysis of indicators of the socio-economic development of the region, as well as indicators of the development of agriculture, revealed a positive influence of factors of investment attractiveness of agriculture in the Smolensk region. Such dynamics as GRP, average per capita cash income per month, average monthly nominal accrued wages of employees of organizations, investments in fixed assets, retail trade turnover, foreign trade turnover, and growth have positive dynamics. 400 agricultural producers are registered in the region (including various organizational-legal forms: joint-stock companies, LLC, peasant-farmers enterprise, individual entreprener, cooperatives, unitary enterprises, collective farms). The analysis showed an increase in agricultural production by categories of farms, a steady increase in gross harvest and grain yield.
