Prospects for creating of a public museum of nature (national park) in the basin of Malaya Istra

Istra district - the most attractive in Middle Moscow, due to its advantageous geographical location. More effective is the use of the territory of the Istra region for recreational purposes - for establishment of ecological and cognitive pathways and trails, and creating public parks. The project of creating and completing environmental-education center, public museum of nature and the national park in the river basin of Malaya Istra is proposed in the article. The estab- lishment of such areas is necessary not only for environmental education, but also for therapeutic and recreational purposes. The author has previously conducted socio-environmental monitoring of suburbanization process, assessment and inventory of natural resources and facilities in the basin Small Istra to identify the most valuable territories in envi- ronmental, medical and health, ecological and aesthetic, educational and educational terms. Realization of the project will contribute to rapid growth of the recreational and tourism potential of the Istra district and at the same time will preserve the sites of the national landscape of the Center of Russian plain with high ecological and aesthetic and health features. In addition, it will involve investment in this fast-growing sector of economy that will create new jobs for the local population. In the future, recreation and tourism cluster is expected to create, aimed at the agriculture tourism development (including ethnographic) in the territory of Istra, Ruza, Mozhaisk, and Shakhovsky Lotoshinskogo and Volo- kolamsk districts. The obtained result can be used in the future in the Russian Federation for the dissemination of good practice of arrangement of areas near large cities with high medical-wellness, ecological and aesthetic and recreational potential for the development of socially-oriented public forms of tourism.
