Pyrope grains from Middle Jurassic deposits at the territory of Vjatka-Kama Depression are investigated. The main properties of pyropes are described. The clear distinction between pyrope grains transported from far rock sources and that of close sources are marked. The last grains may be used for prospecting of kimberlites.
