The article focuses on summarizing the data and analysis of the food consumed in funeral ceremonies till present times. The study bases on field ethnographic materials collected by the author in various regions of Chechnya, Ingushetia, and other republics of the Northern Caucasus. The published data and researches regarding the Chechens and other Caucasus peoples are applied as well.
