Planning the surveying of area observation objects by a group of spacecrafts

The paper addresses the problem of planning the surveying of area observation objects by a group of spacecrafts. The main limitations are given, as well as the criterion for evaluating efficiency of the schedule of a spacecraft group. A review of existing approaches to solving this problem is provided. The paper also proposes methodology for creating a work plan for target equipment of the spacecraft group for Earth remote sensing. This methodology makes it possible to effectively use available resources to optimize the process of surveying an area observation object. The developed prototype of the planning module for target application of the spacecraft group is described. The paper specifies advantages of the proposed approach to planning of the surveying of area observation objects by a group of spacecrafts.
