The experience of plasty of postoperative oropharyngeal defects in 84 patients with oral cavity and oropharyngeal cancers at the stage of surgery on a primary lesion has been presented. In 46 (54,8 %) patients plasty was performed by means of mucosa-periosteal graft. In 26,2 % of cases greater pectoral muscle was used. In one case trapezium muscle and in the other case nasolabial grafts were applied. In equal number of cases (2,4 %) grafts including sternocleidomastoideus and subcutaneous muscles were used. To close the limited oropharyngeal defects, the use of arterialized mucosal periosteal hard palate graft proved to be expedient. For the plasty of combined oropharyngeal defects a combination of grafts including arterialized hard palate graft and graft with greater pectoral muscle was used.
