Introduction. The theoretical study of plastic thinking in choreographic art suggests the boundaries of its measurement as an anthropogenic phenomenon and a practical type of human artistic activity. The focus of research attention is on the cognitive foundations of creativity in the art of dance, the role and functions of plastic thinking in the history of choreography.
