In the footsteps of a fairy tale hero created by O.M. Somov, a writer from Pushkin's environment

The article analyzes the facts and events of O.M. Somov’s fairy tale, relationship of its hero with Kovrov land of Vladimir region. The author considers О.М. Somov’s connection with Pushkin’s environment, his sources of data about people and places of Kovrov land. The author notes the lack of answers to the many questions that arise in the study of the works of A. Pushkin and his entourage.
