In the wake of P. S. Pallas: amphibians and reptiles of the samara region

The review of data of P.S. Pallas about amphibians and the reptiles of the present Samara region published by it in the first part «Reise durch verschiedene Provinzen des Russischen Reichs» (Pallas, 1771) is resulted. It is studied modern таксономический structure of amphibians and reptiles in places where Pallas marked these animals. The species named here by Pallas, are identified with the kinds accepted now.
