The study included 135 senile patients (mean age 83.2 ± 0.7 years; 69 males and 66 females) with arterial hypertension and stage 2-4 chronic kidney disease. All patients underwent Doppler ultrasound of the renal arteries. We found a correlation between the renal vascular resistance index and renal function, blood pressure, daily proteinuria, and pulse wave velocity.
