Selection of a demulsifier for the separation of oil and water emulsion in the field

The article presents the results of a study of the effectiveness of various demulsifiers (DE) for separating oil and water emulsions in the field. A comparative analysis of the effectiveness of three types of demulsifiers (DE-1, DE-2, DE-3) in conditions of high salt content in oil was carried out. According to the results of the study, the DE-1 demulsifier is significantly more effective than the base, as well as more effective than the DE-2 and DE -3 demulsifiers. The tests were carried out at concentrations of 10 g/t, 20 g/t and 30 g/t demulsifiers.
