Selection and analysis of the technological mode of wells of a new type with cone formation under the conditions of hard to recover reserves

This article discusses the author's mini-projects for drilling additional boreholes based on filtration models to justify the possible impact of water front injection on the production of "intercone oil". The concept of "intercone oil" is described. Numerical experiments of these projects are presented that reveal the main characteristics of filtration, taking into account the formation of water cones, and the main directions for finding solutions to the identified problems for further research in difficult-to-recover conditions of residual reserves involved in development using horizontal wells are formulated. Assumptions about the possible impact of the combined type of watering on the efficiency of sidetracks are revealed.
