Support for regional export activities (cases of regions leaders in growth of export quota)

Foreign trade activity has a strong influence on the socio-economic development of the country. In turn, each of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation contributes, in accordance with the specifics of its location, existing on the territory of the natural resource potential. Due to the fact that the role of the regions in the implementation of the development strategy of the country’s foreign trade is increasing, it is necessary to investigate the problems of foreign trade regulation in order to achieve the required results. To assess the effectiveness of foreign policy conducted, the ranking of all Russian regions for 2010 - 2016 was carried out. in terms of the openness of the economy and the contribution of exports to the size of the gross regional product is estimated. The study analyzed the export activities of the leading regions in the growth of export quotas.
