Library staff training in Buryatia: experience and achievements (1950s - the beginning of 1990s)

The article describes the main results of personnel training for library institutions since the 1950s until the beginning of the 1990s in Buryatia. The authors consider historical experience of training library personnel in the context of changes in librarianship. In addition, the authors analyzed the process of formation and expansion of the library network, affecting requirements for library workers.
