Preparation of engineering and economic personnel in economic universities

The article analyzes the training of engineering and economic personnel in Russian technical and economic universities. The principles of transition from economic to engineering and economic education through the introduction of a system of engineering and technical knowledge on the basis of the cross-discipline "Fundamentals of engineering". The proposed structure of discipline is based on the use of modern software packages that form the basis of engineering tools.
