An approach to competitiveness improvement of the pharmaceutical industrial enterprise

The article offers methodological guidelines aimed to improve the competitiveness of pharmaceutical indus-trial enterprises. The author discusses two ways to reduce costs of pharmaceutical products'' manufacturing: reducing the cost of raw materials by means of establishment of international relations or active import substitution, and the use of new types of production equipment. In addition, the paper considers the features of such leverages affecting the competitiveness of pharmaceutical companies as improvement of product quality, marketing development, availability of additional services, application of marketing tools.
