The article presents a look at the definition of effectivity as a complex economic category and its role in decision-making processes. The classification of the main types of efficiency is considered depending on various characteristics and a brief description is given. Also, the existing approaches to the development of a system of criteria for the efficiency of the enterprise and its indicators are considered.
