Approaches to the research of the province as a social-and-cultural, mental and crossregional phenomenon

This article is devoted to the analysis of a modern province as a socio-cultural and socio-mental phenomenon. The author considers different aspects, connected with formation and transformation of the province in modern regional and crossregional continuum, problems of social projecting in a provincial environment and interdependence of local identity and province.
