Approaches of strategic planning in management municipal education

In the present article the modern analysis of strategic planning in management of municipal education is carried out, the purposes and tasks of strategic planning, and also forms of its implementation are defined. The importance of strategic planning at the municipal level is emphasized, the criteria for the correct preparation of strategic plans from the point of view of regulatory support are highlighted. In addition, the article systematizes the opinions of well-known authors in the field of program-target planning as the basis for the implementation of strategic planning in the municipality.
