Connection of essential agricultural consumers to the emergency power plant

Modern highly mechanized and electrified agriculture imposes increased requirements to the reliability and uninterrupted electric power supply. Insufficient supply of the electric power, power supply interruptions of the enterprises of agro-industrial complex lead both to the direct economic loss connected with its restoration and technological loss caused by the damage of agricultural products. Energy supplying organizations at the same time suffer losses because of a non-payment of the unserved energy. In the complex of the actions aimed at the increase in reliability of power supply an important place belongs to the development and improvement of the means allowing to carry out fast and trouble-free connection of agricultural consumers to emergency power sources. Along with substation and network reservation, it would be necessary to mention local reservation by means of independent emergency power sources. The way allowing to determine essential consumers while connecting them to the stand-by power plant (essential consumers are connected to the power from the stand-by power plant and non-essential ones aren't connected) is considered in the article. An informative signal for the connection of essential consumers by the start of the stand-by power plant the alternate of segregated power supply in network is used. At first the voltage of one certain phase is connected, and then the voltage moves to two other phases. This sequence of power supply allows to define essential consumers from the total number of consumers while connecting them to the stand-by power plant. Thereby an uninterrupted power supply of essential agricultural consumers by power supply interruption in the systems of the centralized power supply is provided. The realization of the proposed way in schemes of management of the modern automated diesel-run power plants will allow to increase reliability of power supply.
