Underground movement in the Leningrad region during the Great Patriotic War in modern Russian historiography

The study by researchers of the underground movement in the Leningrad region began during the Great Patriotic War. Until the end of the 80s of the last century, many works were published that highlighted different aspects of the activities of underground workers in the occupied territory of the region under consideration. At the same time, other problems were raised, which are now being studied. In this article, the author analyzed scientific papers published in the period from 1990 to 2021. Based on the analysis, several areas were identified that were actively studied by researchers, the results of their work were summarized and problems that require further study were highlighted. It was concluded that over the past 31 years, historians have been able to study in more detail some of the problems of this topic and highlight its new directions. At the same time, it requires a significant addition and clarification of some points in historiography.
