Underground medicine: Russian and foreign experience

Currently, mining of underground minerals is carried out at great depth. In these conditions, along with the factors of the labor process, workers are affected by a number of environmental factors, including high temperature, humidity, high atmospheric pressure, lack of natural illumination and ultraviolet radiation, etc. The article discusses the term and concept of underground medicine (DUGE - deep underground environment). The results of studies of factors affecting workers deep underground (DUGE - deep underground environment) will allow us to scientifically substantiate a set of measures to minimize adverse environmental and industrial factors.
