The article focuses on the burial customs of Tashara-Karier-2. This kurgan burial ground attributable to the mid 11th - early 13th centuries AD is one of the key sites of the Basandaika culture in the southern taiga zone of the Ob basin. General and specific traits of burial rites within the Basandaika culture are defined and there ethnic and cultural attribution is given.
