The article is devoted to the research of the funeral complexes of Pit-Grave culture in the Volga-Ural interfluve region which contain leader symbolic. The main distinctive attributes of such burials in Pit-Grave culture of the Volga-Ural region are high labor costs of construction of burial mounds and funeral chambers, and also the presence of prestigious grave goods. The analysis of funeral complexes allows to draw a conclusion that there was a specific authority system in Pit-Grave society where leaders of tribes combined different administrative and priestly functions. The premises for formation of such type of power, probably, were provided by the mobile cattle breeding and the ideological patterns of the world which was developed at that time.
