Search and analysis of homologue conservative regions of SP-D protein

In this article, structural changes in the SP-D protein of humans and various mammalian species were studied in order to find conservative regions of the amino acid sequence of the protein and regions with the greatest discrepancy. This study is aimed at analyzing the relationship between protein structure and its functional efficiency, which can be used to understand and effectively treat inflammatory lung diseases. As a result of the work, it was found that the greatest number of differences was accumulated in the structural domains of the protein, which is probably due to its functional formation.
