Purpose. Article is devoted to systems analysis bronze pendants, which are part of typesetting belts. Details belts are an important source for the solution of debatable problems of chronology and ethno-cultural history of South Siberia hun time. In the article analyzes the problems of classification, chronology and definition of a functional purpose of waist-belt pendants. Results: Belt pendants found in Tes' time ground burial Krasny Yar, Tepsei VII, Kaly, Esino III, Chernoe Ozero, in the crypts Tashtyk culture (Uybat, Tepsei, Tasheba chaa-tas). Such objects are also found in the composition of Ishim, Kosogol, Iyus and Ai-Dai treasures. Significant number specimens comes from the number of random finds and stored in museum collections. Typological analysis allowed to divide all known specimens into two groups - openwork and rotate. Openwork pendants divided into 4 types. They are bronze rings, the internal field is decorated drop-shaped or oval cells with ringlets or curls. Rotate the pendants also includes 4 types, the internal field is decorated different number of spokes. Some artifacts are spoken at the center of an additional ring or disk. Single specimens are presented of pendants in the form bronze discs, decorated on the perimeter of triangular or oval holes. Openwork pendants are one of the indicators of the Hun cultural complex. The time of their use are to the period of dominance in the Asian steppes Hun empire. In Minusinsk hollow, they found in ground tombs in Tes' time and treasures, that as well as objects of hunnu date I BC - II AD. Rotate pendants have wider chronological framework. In Siberia, they appeared in the Scythian epoch. In Minusinsk hollow pendants 1-3 types of treasures and of Tes' time ground tombs belong to the turn of the eras. Pendants of the 4 th type of Tashtyk crypts used wich IV to VII century AD. Materials from the Hun and Tes' time burials indicate that openwork and rotate pendants were parts of belts and used for hang various items: leather bags, beads, «pronizka», pendants made of different materials. These products have been associated with religious and mythological beliefs and rituals. Perhaps they were persons belonging costume performing religious functions. Conclusion. Realized typological and chronological analysis allows a more reasonable use of bronze pendants rings to determine the chronology of archaeological sites hunnish time South Siberia. Analysis of the location of the suspensions in the graves of nomads Minusinsk hollow and Transbaikal proves that pendants were part of belts and used as suspenders and belts distributors.
