A poem as a stitch of philosophy: rhythmic structure and monotone

The article deals with the shift from the metaphor of vision to the metaphor of hearing and considers the grounds of the necessity of this transition. The metaphor of vision is specified in terms of order, distance to what is happening. The metaphor of hearing is discussed through the reference to poetry and its relation with the philosophy. The authors find the connection of these metaphors in the concept of rhythmic structure of a thought, poetry, and objectness.
