Indicators and methodology for non-departmental assessment of the activities of internal affairs bodies and their functioning conditions

The article contains a retrospective analysis of the approaches of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia to the system of indicators for assessing the activities of the internal affairs bodies contained in the departmental normative legal acts adopted in the last two decades. The genesis of the positions aimed at improving the indicators of assessing the activities of the internal affairs bodies is shown. The content of indicators used in departmental and non-departmental assessments of the activities of territorial bodies of internal affairs is revealed. The central place in the article is devoted to the study of indicators and methods of non-departmental assessment of the activities of internal affairs bodies and the conditions for their functioning.
